A Little Help? Theme

This ended up being more than one mechanic, but it got in there in a sneaky way. The original concept that excited me with this theme, was to literately be a little helper, a little fairy flying to her friends to save her just in time. But on her own she wouldn't be strong, only flying towards her friends she would be faster. 


So the main mechanic is a bodyguard mechanic, that upon arriving your "Ally" becomes invulnerable to the incoming damage from the bullets. But then I added a speed-up mechanic so that there is incentive to fly fast towards something to add urgency. Then I was stuck forever on the Player Movement of the character, I thought adding a simple floating movement would be simple, but it ended up being incredibly complicated with the camera and raycasting didn't read things correctly etc. But I tried my bast and am happy where it landed. The things seem to interact nicely and excited to work this one out further.
